Overview: The NIH Loan Repayment Programs (LRPs) are designed to recruit and retain highly qualified health professionals into biomedical or biobehavioral research careers. The LRPs repay up to $35,000 annually of a researcher’s qualified educational debt in return for a commitment to engage in NIH mission-relevant research.
When: Wednesday, August 30, 12:00-1:00PM (drop in as you are able)
Where: MHRA Building, Room 1607 (large conf. room on 1st floor)
What: After a brief intro, hear from two UNCG faculty that have been awarded NIH LRPs. Bring your questions. Also feel free to bring your own lunch for this very casual discussion.
Why: To help you be more competitive for an NIH LRP, and pay off student debt.
