Wednesday, August 3012:00-1:00PM, MHRA Building, Room 1607

Overview: The NIH Loan Repayment Programs (LRPs) are designed to recruit and retain highly qualified health professionals into biomedical or biobehavioral research careers. The LRPs repay up to $35,000 annually of a researcher’s qualified educational debt in return for a commitment to engage in NIH mission-relevant research.

Qualifications: You must be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident, with a qualifying degree (e.g. Ph.D. and others), with qualified educational debt, and conducting qualified research.
Learn from UNCG awardees: Christopher Rhea of Kinesiology and Marianne LeGreco of Communication Studies have offered to share their personal stories in winning LRP awards. Their examples and advice could help you win an LRP.
