The National Endowment for the Humanities is expected to establish a deadline in mid-late September 2019 for Summer Stipend applications, for projects to take place in the Summer of 2020. A panel of five UNCG humanities faculty will review and select up to two proposals that will represent UNCG in this prestigious competition.
The internal deadline for UNCG applications will be the first Friday of August (8/2/2019), at 5:00PM. The following materials will be required by the internal deadline:
- Narrative not to exceed three single-spaced pages
- Bibliography in one single spaced page
- Vita not to exceed two single spaced pages.
- You may also submit a one page appendix for Editions, Translations, or Database Projects, or for Proposals that Include Visual Materials.
Additional details will be relayed when the NEH issues annual guidelines for this program, expected around May 2019.
