Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG), January 2018: For proposals submitted or due, or awards made, on or after January 29, 2018, the guidelines in PAPPG 18-1 apply. This document replaces PAPPG 17-1.

Highlights include:

  • unless otherwise specified in a program announcement, budget justification can now be 5 pages.
  • unless otherwise specified in a program announcement, the Project Description must now have a section for Broader Impacts and another separate section for Intellectual Merit.
